Swim School Policies
MAKEUP POLICY
If you miss a class, only one make-up is provided per 8 consecutive weeks of enrollment.
If you intend on missing any classes, notify the office in advance (at least 24 hours) so that we may use your swim slot for a make-up for another student. You may email your intended absence or call our office.
After notifying the office of your intended absence a makeup token will be emailed to you. The makeup token will include an expiration date. Makeups will only be offered when you give prior notice that you will be absent.
Only currently active Take Me to the Water participants may use their makeup token.
To schedule a make-up, email us with your availability over the next 3 days. Email us no earlier than 72 – hours prior to the day you want to take the make-up. You will receive an email response.
Specific instructors or times are not guaranteed for make-ups.
All make-ups will expire within a month. If Take Me To The Water must cancel a class, a make-up class may be scheduled.
In the event an instructor is unable to teach, Take Me To The Water reserves the right to substitute an instructor without any prior notice.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS AND CREDITS
A 30-day written notice via email is required to cancel your classes. You may email us or call our office to cancel your classes.
For the first class only, a full refund minus the cost of that first class will be given should you cancel within 72 hours of your second scheduled class. There is a $25 processing fee for cancellations.
PAYMENT
Full payment is due on the 15th of the month for the following month. If the 15th falls on a weekend, charges will be made on Monday. For example, on January 15th, your credit card will be charged for all the classes in February.
If you are signing up right before OR after the 15th of the month you will be charged for the remaining classes of that current month PLUS the upcoming month.
